Biography

As a Chartered Accountant, Caroline has experience of both audit and corporate tax. She is also a non-practicing barrister, and now focuses on emerging regulatory and legal developments, as well as post Brexit trade issues, at PwC. She has extensive experience of audit reform, including the implementation of the EU Audit Regulation, and now audit and corporate governance reform. Caroline has experience of the public sector, via a secondment to the Office of Tax Simplification, and has been a member of the ICAEW Investigation Committee.

Caroline has a clear focus on the need to build trust and confidence in the audit profession, as well as ensuring that it continues to attract and retain talent.
